The repositionable self-adhesive backing board RW-07 is a 1.4 mm thick Perfect Mount board with an acid-free, repositionable adhesive. It is particularly suitable for mounting photographs, posters and art prints easily and evenly.
The board has a pH-neutral buffered surface, while the adhesive side is protected by silicone release paper. A particular advantage of Perfect Mount is that the image can initially be positioned and repositioned as long as firm pressure has not been applied. Permanent adhesion is achieved after approximately 24 hours.
Our backing boards are available in the following qualities and thicknesses:
- Gray cardboard (RW-01), 1.5 mm thick
- Chroma cardboard (RW-02), 2.0 mm thick
- Acid-free laminated gray cardboard (RW-03), 2.0 mm thick
- Barrier paper / archival backing board (RW-05), 0.5 mm thick
- Repositionable self-adhesive backing board (RW-07), 1.4 mm thick
- Self-adhesive backing board (RW-09), 1.4 mm thick
- Self-adhesive backing board (RW-10), 2.5 mm thick
- Museum-quality backing board, 2.0 mm thick: RW-11 white / RW-12 cream
- Museum-quality backing board, 1.0 mm thick: RW-13 white / RW-14 cream
