Chroma cardboard RW-02 is a high-quality, acid-free backing board for framing, displaying and mounting pictures and artwork. Because the backing board is in direct contact with the entire surface of the artwork, it should be selected according to its intended use.
The RW-02 is a high-quality, acid-free Chroma cardboard, 2.0 mm thick. This laminated Finnish wood-pulp board has a very smooth surface and is particularly suitable for mounting artwork.
Our backing boards are available in the following qualities and thicknesses:
- Gray cardboard (RW-01), 1.5 mm thick
- Chroma cardboard (RW-02), 2.0 mm thick
- Acid-free laminated gray cardboard (RW-03), 2.0 mm thick
- Barrier paper / archival backing board (RW-05), 0.5 mm thick
- Repositionable self-adhesive backing board (RW-07), 1.4 mm thick
- Self-adhesive backing board (RW-09), 1.4 mm thick
- Self-adhesive backing board (RW-10), 2.5 mm thick
- Museum-quality backing board, 2.0 mm thick: RW-11 white / RW-12 cream
- Museum-quality backing board, 1.0 mm thick: RW-13 white / RW-14 cream
