PLEXIGLAS® Optical HC Acrylic Glass – Scratch-Resistant with 99.7% UV Protection
PLEXIGLAS® Optical HC is a high-quality acrylic glass with a thickness of 3.0 mm, offering UV protection of up to 99.7%. Additionally, the material features a single-sided hardened, highly scratch-resistant surface, making it ideal for high-quality framing, photographs, art prints, certificates, and other valuable works.
The acrylic glass is protected on both sides with a protective film. The hardened side is marked by a pink protective film, and the reverse side by a blue protective film. Before removing the protective films, we recommend marking the hardened side to ensure it faces outwards during framing.

Usage Notes
PLEXIGLAS® Optical HC is not anti-reflective. Like any acrylic glass, this material can develop electrostatic charges. For works with loose pigments, such as charcoal drawings, pastels, or pencil drawings, we therefore recommend using special glazing without static charge.
Before framing, the protective films must be removed from both sides.
Care
For cleaning, we recommend soft, lint-free cloths and suitable acrylic glass cleaners with antistatic properties. This will maintain transparency and surface quality long-term.
