Pure wheat starch for museum-quality image mounting and restoration
This high-quality, purified wheat starch is used to make a traditional wheat starch paste for conservation and museum applications. It is excellent for the reversible mounting of paper works, photographs, prints, and other delicate materials.
The finished paste has been used for decades in restoration, archiving, bookbinding, and high-quality framing. Since the adhesive remains water-soluble, bonds can be gently reversed if needed.
The wheat starch is supplied uncooked and must be mixed with water and heated before use.

- Remove and stir thoroughly.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 until a translucent, viscous paste forms.
